The Black River Advancement Association has an endowment and is a qualified 501(c)3. This allows donations to typically qualify as charitable contributions. We greatly appreciate the generation donations we have gotten over the years. These gifts are key to the long term stability of the association, and the properties we care for. The interest generated from the endowment investments is used to maintain and improve both the Advancement Hall, and the Jung Center, and provides assurance that the association will remain viable.
Endowment Trust Account
Money comes to the endowment in two primary ways – from generous donations and from a percentage of the Fall Fry net proceeds.
Our goal is to grow this endowment to $100,000 with the help of generous donations and/or bequeaths from its members and the community that love the Black River area. Earned interest income from the endowment fund is returned to our general account each year to cover operating expenses.
